Summary: we strongly apply the elementary logical /
"metamathematical" principles mentioned in the following. The existing real
time software in the gas business, the SCADA Systems, is not able to also
take over other control activities. It controls the physical gas flow, but e.g. not the
contractual one (ConCADA: Contract Control And Data Acquisition).
To enable realtime control for e.g. physics and contracts simultaneously we apply the universal principles, i.e.
"completely different way of thinking to construct complex software and data universes".
In concrete terms this means that the theory enabling the construction of
such systems has already been in place for 50 years and even more.
The underlying concepts are Topology, Category Theory, and the essential part of Topos Theory.
The collection of data, "conglomerating" different kinds of
data, e.g. pipeline data, contract data, metering data, accounting data,
etc. and then preparing different user-views - for everybody exactly what he
needs, and only that - is nothing other than applying Categorical Topology.
actual topic: the so called virtual point
More precisely it should be named "free market place" for energy exchange and/or energy trading.
The universal mathematical construction behind that market place is the colimit, precisly the
coproduct, of all entries of the grid joined and/or meeted with the limit, more exact the product,
of all exits of the grid. This basic constructions caracterise topological categories, they invite
to think in general topoi. We define this "self dual oid-construct" as topoid;
topoids := multi-morphisms, colimits and limits, quotients and subobjects, join and meet. Topoids are
"order without dictatorship", this law holds identically in the micro-sphere and the macro-sphere
as well. Simplifying a number of exits are named virtual exits, they are quotients in the
categorical language, same holds for the dual construction of subgrids which are subobjects,
categorically spoken.
